Gradex has been contracted by Hunt Construction Group to work on several Indianapolis Airport packages as part of the larger FedEx expansion project. These packages focus on the control of storm water runoff through a vast array of underground utilities and retention basins. The projects feature pipe sizes ranging from 6″ to 96″ in diameter; utilizing ductile iron, Hobas, RCP, and more types of pipe. These underground utilities also range from 2′ depth down to 30′ depth. New storm water basins are also being created in these packages that will allow water retention for slow releases into the storm sewers at a later time. Gradex is proud to once again work with Hunt and the Indianapolis Airport Authority on this large and complicated project.
